Sorry that there is no Bardcast this week due to technical difficulties on the storytelling front, however, I would like to take the opportunity to put out another call for storytellers who might be interested in sharing their talent with us.
Generally the submission process is very simple. Write up a brief into to your story, record yourself reading the intro and telling the story (MP3 format), then submit the 2 files to us at bardcast@rocketmail.com. We will then add the Bardcast intro and finale for use on the site. If you are in need of a free recording software may we recommend Audacity which is an open source software that is very easy to use as long as you have a computer with a microphone. No fancy recording equipment is needed.
Just a final reminder that if you do choose to share your storytelling abilities with us and the world that we are designed to be a ‘Family Friendly’ Podcast, and as such will monitor all submissions before broadcast. Should we have any concerns with the submission we will be sure to contact you to try to sort them out.
